Warts and Moles Removal

Moles are medically known as nevi and they are basically a cluster of pigmented cells which are seen on the skin as black or brown spots. There are different types of moles. While most of the times the moles are harmless, there are a few which could be cosmetically unappealing or very rarely may become cancerous. They can appear on any part of the body and by the time you reach adulthood, you could have around 10-40 moles, as per a study. With age, some of the moles disappear and few others change their colour or may grow in size.
A mole is formed when a group of cells called melanocytes come together and grow in a cluster at a particular spot on the body. They may be flat or protruding.

The different types are congenital moles (formed during birth) and acquired moles (which appear later in life). However, if the moles start getting painful, start itching or bleeding, increase rapidly in size or if there is any asymmetry then it is advisable to consult a dermatologist.

Warts
Our skin may get affected by different types of infections based on different factors around us. A common occurrence among those is warts. These are basically growths on human skin which are caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV) infection. Sometimes, these growths become prominent enough to cause social embarrassment.

Types of Warts:
Filiform warts
Common warts
Plantar warts
Flat warts
Periungual warts and others

They can occur at any area of the body more often being seen on hands, feet, and face. There are warts affecting the private areas which are transmitted sexually, caused by other varieties of HPV. Though the warts tend to disappear on their own, they may take a lot of time which may vary from one person to another. Sometimes, they may recur following certain modes of treatment. They are brown to black in colour and may vary in size from 2-4 mm.
Warts are considered to be contagious, but it is possible that only a single member of the family can have them without other members getting affected.

Cosmetic Fillers

With aging, you also tend to lose the volume due to degradation of fat, collagen and hyaluronic acid. This in turn causes skin laxity, deeper wrinkles and furrows. Dermal fillers or soft tissue fillers are done to enhance or replace the volume loss in the face. These can be used in combination with cosmetic fillers or laser rejuvenation or alone for an overall improvement.

Soft tissue fillers or derma fillers comprising of collagen and hyaluronic acid are injected into the affected area which soothes the wrinkles and brings out the skin volume. The hyaluronic acid is a naturally forming sugar in the human body and its job is to deliver nutrients and act as a cushioning agent. It also helps in hydrating the skin by holding the water.
Derma fillers are classified as Temporary, Semi-Permanent and permanent based on the longevity.

Threatlifts

A surgical lift is not the only treatment option available for sagging skin. You can get a facelift without surgery. Also known as feather lift surgery, it is a no-scar facelift performed using tiny threads to lift and support the droopy elements of the brow, cheeks, face and neck.

A thread lift procedure uses various, different types of suture threads to help lift and tighten the skin. The process helps to raise the outer brow area, reduce jowling along the jawline and reduce sagging in the cheeks, nasolabial (nose to mouth) folds and the lower eye areas and reducing double chin or crinkling in neck skin or wrinkling of tummy skin post-pregnancy.

Double chin treatments

Stretch Marks Treatments

Earlobe repair

Ear lobes are perhaps the most ignored area of our body. It is for some reason not given enough attention. It is not that the ear lobes in everyone’s case is perfect, it is just that until recent times there was no buzz regarding any major procedure to enhance the appearance of ear lobes.
Many of us have problems due to big ear lobes, hence unable to wear proper ear-rings. Usually women and men wear ear jewellery to enhance their appearance. Rings, posts, and other objects have adorned ears since ancient times. Various parts are pierced to better hold these items in place. Unfortunately significant weight or trauma can pull through tissue.

A tear in the lobe or margin leaves a notch in the otherwise smooth continuous edge. This defect is usually very visible and hard to cover with hair or clothing.
Sometimes you may also lose costly ear studs like diamonds because of this problem. Commonly used method to correct this defect is through surgery, which is laborious, time consuming and needs medications.

Torn earlobes are a common problem for women due to wearing heavy earrings or earrings which are pulled upon, causing the tear. Torn earlobes can be easily repaired under local anaesthesia as an office procedure. This requires ear lobe repair with the technique so that scar is not visible and also so that ear lobule does not get elongated again.
